| Bette
T is the kind of singer that performs every song because
she personally believes in it. Group personnel say that
that is consistent with her dedication and her expectations
of band members.
She
is a musician who asks only what she would deliver.
Bette balances aspects of the group's musical diversity
with her intuition for the listeners' desire to dance
and have fun. This lady has the responsibility of keeping
the roof tied on when her band members want to stray
too far.
When
thinking about her style, several names come to mind:
Angela Strehli, Lou Ann Barton, some Carly Simon, some
Rita Coolidge, a dash of Phoebe Snow, Maria Malduar,
Chrissy Hines, Grace Jones, and Etta James. This lady
has the blues, the boogie, and the woogie - it all comes
out when things get rocking - she brings it home.
Bette’s
experience on the road (along with sister Barbara)
with a major show group "The Brothers & Sisters"
who backed such talents as Sarah Vaughn, Bob Hope, Bobby
Vinton, and Tennessee Ernie Ford, is where her dynamic
stage presence was polished. Those years she played
nation wide at state fairs, Caesar’s Palace, & other
major Las Vegas Clubs, the Palmer House in Chicago,
The National Democratic Convention, the Houston Astro-Dome,
just to name a few. In the last several years, she has
given more emphasis to blues, pop rock and jazz performing
since 1998 with Front Page News, and side line projects,
"Scotch
& Soda", an acoustic group and "The
Jammies". Her energetic presence and powerful
vocals will captivate you! .
Together
with sister Barbara,
you can expect double the fun since Bette and Barbara
are identical twins and have been sining together since
they were in kindergarten. You can't help getting caught
in their enthusiasm, and are in for visual entertainment
of choreographed moves with the family connection to
boot.
You're
in for something when you book Front Page News and experience
Bette T for your party! Better hold on!
