J Barth (or PJ as his friends and FPN fans call him)
is a relative newcomer to the Milwaukee music scene.
He has been playing guitar for nearly 10 years but only
in the last 2 years has he turned professional.
His playing style
is deeply rooted in traditional blues and old school
R&B mixed in with his own blend of soul. His singing
is reminiciant of old gospel and blues singers with
his ultra soulful delivery. He has played with Milwaukee
area music "giants" such as FPN's Rick
Holmes, as well as Dianna Jones, Big O, Benny Reno,
Mark Pannier, Terry James, to name a few.
Although PJ is
a blues player he is comfortable in various styles and
genres. He is a frequent open jam attendant, always
looking for ways to better his craft. And lately,
he has been turning heads on a regular basis at the
Monday Night jam sessions with the house band at Buddy
Guy's Legends Blues Club in Chicago. Yes - he is
that hot!
And Front Page
News is pleased to add PJ's great style to the group.
C'mon and check 'em out!
